Ongoing, regular clinical supervision is available and vital for any safeguarding roles.​

 Learning Aims and Outcomes:

• Have increased levels of awareness and understanding of the theory, impact of abuse and safeguarding measures

• Accurately identify risks to, and the needs of, adult and child victims

• How and why a clear understanding of individual roles and responsibilities is paramount in achieving best practice and effective multi-agency working

• Demonstrate through the presentation of case studies how the theory works in practice and the difficulties that may be encountered

• Ensure delegates are more confident, competent and capable when responding to any issues they may face
